Lyle Alzaldo, a close friend of Addikt, talked about his work as a UX designer and how he didn’t feel acknowledged and misunderstood as a designer. We felt a need to do something about this, and that’s how it all got started. We wrote the scripts together with Lyle and put the animations together. Dutch artist Merijn Hos did the wonderful illustrations and Soundware added the sound and voice. ‘Who doesn’t love a good UX design, and who doesn’t get totally frustrated with bad experience design? Together with Saffron Brand Consultants we have created a new identity for the #1 Digital TV channel in Turkey, Digiturk. Saffron came up with a number of ‘mood’ rings wich represent different themes like: Action, drama, horror and the Simpsons, which is ofcourse a theme all by itself. Our job was bringing these rings to life and so we did.
