Damn another quarter gone. Time flies when you’re shit-buzzy. So time for a nice overview.
Since we are keen on improving our work, we’ve added strategy and concepting to complement our video and animation business. And since we do more live video, we handled shoots for Appelsap, Nationale Nederlanden and Mc Donalds. So more to offer for you, and wha! – more fun for us!
Rabobank studenten practicum
Euro 4d asked us to help them with an online campaign on Hyves. It was aimed at students having a Rabobank account. Through an online and offline game, they could win prizes, like a flight in a stunt airplane and a trip to Dubai. We created three movies for the project to give the campaign a more exiting and global feeling. We were happily surprised that Rabobank totally went for the f**kedup gritty style we created, big up to Rabo for keeping it real.
Diana Ross show video’s
One of the great diva’s of soul did 2 shows in the Gelredome for 70.000 people.
As you might know, after the bankruptcy of The Entertainment Group they decided to continue with Diana Ross concert. Symphonica In Rosso was taken over by Mojo Concerts and they asked us to do all the motion graphics content for the show within two weeks. 2 Giant screens 48 Meters wide and 11 meters high . Impossible you say… No, we did it before. We like em tight. On location, we also adjusted some of the video’s for Her Highness miss Ross herself, which is not a problem with our mobile renderfarm. How do you like them apples, niccce.

Gemeente Utrecht rebranding animation
Doorn & Roos is the most “Utrecht” ad agency in the world so it was logical they were chosen by the city of Utrecht to introduce the new city branding. They brought together te best of what Utrecht has to offer, Kyteman, Koeweiden Postma and Addikt (!)... and organized a spectacular performance at the Stadsschouwburg.

Appelsap minidoc
Now it’s all cold and wintery, don’t you long back to the summer. Especially last summer was great!
Addikt proposed a short documentary on the Appelsap festival to the guys of Hendsum and Young. Just because we are fans. Props to Bernie who almost did the complete production, from filming the event, the editing, grading and motion graphics in post production. Ariel Castillo filmed the event on 8mm for that sweet seventies feel. Check out the technicolor results here!
Adobe User Group XL
Close to 900 visitors came to the first edition of Adobe User Group XL. An event for creative professionals. Addikt did the keynote opening video, was part of the Wacom presentations jury and gave a one-hour master class on behalf of Adobe on video and motion graphics as part of the Adobe Switch campaign. Theater & Concertbon account
We pitched and we won. The goal: the account for the strategy and rebranding of Theater & Concertbon. Meaning the strategy for the brand, the rebrand of the identity, print designs, online, motion graphics and more. All done in-house at our office : ) So stay tuned for this upcoming new brand, to be announced soon.

Nationale Nederlanden Prestatie Pensioen
After the success of the last project we did for Nationale Nederlanden with actor Thom Hoffman, they asked us again – this time to do a movie about another product, Prestatie Pensioen. Boring topic, nice project. We did shoots on 3 different locations, and spiced up that material with a bunch of infographics.

Trailer new sportsgame for the handicapped
In collaboration with SportBilliis, Addikt created the gametrailer for SportBilliis, the handicap edition: the sportsgame for physically handicapped (and not- handicapped). In the game, where it’s all about experiencing different sports, you can decide wether to use a wheelchair or other handicaps. Dutch celebrities like Fatima Moreira de Melo, Foppe de Haan, Henk Gemser and Kees-Jan van der Klooster demonstrate how the game is played in the trailer. When it was put on Youtube, the news quickly spread itself through twitter, newssites and blogs.
Mc Donald’s online animations
Agency TBWA Neboko Flow approached us for animations and video’s as part of the online marketing for Mc Donald’s. In the campaign ‘Hoe meer je weet, hoe lekkerder je eet’, the story of how Mc Donald’s creates their products is told. We organized a shoot in a green studio with a farmer. The live action farmer was then transported to animated farmer-land. But then…three weeks after the launch the campaign was withdrawn by Mc Donald’s after complaints by Wakker Dier… Time for vegie burgers?

So that was then.
Now we’re working on a whole bunch of new and exciting projects.
