  Uncle Traveling Barry made another appearance as a lecturer on Quasar 5, a festival of the MIT institute of design in Pune, India. Your job as a lecturer is to enlighten your adience. Barry did the opposite by confusing the students. He told them at Addikt we are al generalists instead of specialists…..

  Addikt’s Barry Schwarz did a talk and a workshop on the principles of motion design at the lovely Sri Lanka Design Festival 2010. Hosting a large group of international participants the festival touched upon topics like the future of design and and the responsabilities concerning sustainability that designers have. Who ever thought that green was the most toxic and polluting of all pantone colours…

  Yay! After months of working on all the Yatra stuff the day has finally come. This is what we were waiting for. All the movies, printwork, installations and what not, being used by real people. Always makes us a bit teary eyed to see the stuff you design actually being used. Nice. Barry and Bernie hopped on a plane to check out the festival vibe at first hand. Hanging out with all the speakers, having a ball. This year the Yatra people had a killer speaker lineup, again. We also got great feedback on our festival designs.

  Grand opening of the new Domplein historic cellar. Main attraction was our time travel movie and was received very enthusiasticly.

  Hey hey finally the result of the photoshoot in London. We provided the Led-screen and created graphics for it. A bit weird as we normally produce the end result but now we are just a piece of the puzzle.
